A great time!

Sail Date: September 21, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was just big enough to get lost on, but small enough to see the same people most days. We made a lot of new friends. My only complaint is that there were stains on the couch in our room and stains on the carpet all over the ship - made it seem dirty.

Pros: Bar Harbor was absolutely beautiful - best part of the cruise!!

Cons: Saint John - not much to see other than the falls.

Recommends Grandeur of the Seas? Yes!

Bar Harbor, Maine
Must see Cadillac Mountain, Acadia National Park, carriage roads built by Rockefeller. Went to local bar/restaraunt and tried the local brews - Bar Harbor beer was very good.
Don't Miss: Cadillac Mountain
Portland, Maine
No excursion planned so we took the metro bus around the city and ended up seeing a movie at a local theater and then went to Sebaro brew pub and had a few local beers - lots of fun.
Boston, Massachusetts
Loved Boston, it's a beautiful city - take the trolly ride around the city, we saw some amazing sites and got lots of great pictures.
