Great cruise out of New Orleans
7 Night Western Caribbean (New Orleans Roundtrip)
Sail Date: January 13, 2007
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 8 years ago
Review SummaryThis is a mid-size ship and our first experience with Royal Caribbean. We have generally cruised with Holland America in the past. I really liked the diverse ages of fellow passengers and the multiple projects for all aged children. Many aspects of the ship were just as good as the more costly cruise lines, but it did lack a few of the small attention to detail of the other line: robes and fruit in the stateroom, for example.

Pros: Great food and service in the dining room. Also, terrific adults only pool.
Cons: The last night's entertainment was the least professional we've seen on a cruise
