Review summary

Hawaii was absolutely beautiful and if I was to do it again I would definitely go on another ship. I am so disappointed with Princess especially after hearing so many good things about them. I was on the 12th deck one room away from the door that went into the covid ward, I could not believe how many worker's went thru that door including my room stewart without wearing any proper ppe (only mask) and then returning to take care of us passengers, to me that is totally unacceptable.I wonder if that was a reason for so much covid on this cruise. The ship definitely needs a major overhaul and they need to really train their workers better, especially when it comes to food service, I was so disgusted with the workers using their hands instead of the tongs to serve me my food. The entertainment onboard was horrible, people that have been on Princess cruises a lot thought the same thing so thank God it just wasn't me. I really thought I would never be one to write a bad review and i feel bad for doing it but if it helps them make things better than I will.

The food was not good at all, the worker's in the buffet using their hands to put food on our plates instead of using the tongs was totally disgusting!! Food in dining room was overcooked and service not good!!

Ship looked like it was a nice ship when it was first built but now it needs a major over haul. The smell of mildew on our floor was disgusting and you had to watch where you were walking so you didn't walk into the buckets they placed on the floor to catch the water leaking from the ceiling!!

Rooms were old, really not not a lot of room for your clothes. Our room attendant was nice and did a good job!

I said something to the worker, either didn't understand me or didn't care. Also said something to the person running the buffet, he said he would take care of it!

Using hands directly on food? I have seen passengers do that but for crew to do that would mean a shut down. Did you send that to the CDC?

I never observed that behavior when we sailed on her, approximately 30 days ago. Covid is here to stay. 😞
