Review summary

Thank you Princess, for providing us a great itinerary and outstanding service. Our family waited for four years to travel this route and are extremely grateful.

Embarkation

I think we waited in the wrong line. We are platinum and I think there is a different line but did not realize until we were in the middle. It was fine though. Did not take more than 30 minutes to get onboard.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was great in the main dining room. We did not eat at the specialty restaurants or the buffet.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We participated in the flower making activity. There was little assistance and I wish there was more visual explanation- especially for my 10 year old daughter who was extremely frustrated. We loved the pool and hot tub, my older daughter and her boyfriend loved the art auction.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The comedian was good, the married magician duo were good, Tommy in Crooners Bar was fabulous as always. The nightclub was a lot of fun for any age over 21. Aken and Allan at the Crooners Bar are top notch.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
My two kids- 10 and 7 loved the kids club and all activities (painting t-shirts, teddy bears, coloring, skeeball, foosball...) My complaint- I don't understand how it was decided to put the smoking section at the entrance to the kids club. Parents, kids AND staff in kids club are not happy. I hope this gets addressed but if it already hasn't been, probably won't be, sadly.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Randolf and Eduardo in the dining room, were the best. Tao in Good Spirits was amazing. Air conditioning and safe were not working and were fixed within a half hour of boarding. That's superb service right there.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
I love the ship- easy to navigate. Easy for my kids to get around. Perfect size for our family.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Four people with 7 suitcases in an interior cabin..BUT...no complaints.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

Embarkation process good. It was strange that our porter disappeared three times- taking only a few bags at a time. We did not want to leave curbside until we saw all bags go.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Love Cabo. Took a cab to a beach but the water was quite chilly. The second day we took a cab to our timeshare and hung out in the infinity pools.

La Paz, Mexico

Did not see downtown, instead took the free shuttle to Tecolote Beach and had an amazing time in the warmish clear turquoise water. So strange to see such beautiful water surrounded by cacti and other desert landscaping.

Loreto, Mexico

5 out of 5
What a beautiful town. Did not get to enjoy it as much as I would've liked except for the last hour. Prior to that we took a boat to Coronado Island and again took advantage of the beautiful turquoise water and snorkeling. Most beautiful fish and sealife- biggest starfish I've ever seen.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Again, went to the beach. Traveling with younger kids limits shopping and sightseeing experience. BUT, did enjoy watching parasailers and got my son the coolest pair of shades. He was so happy. He's still wearing them all the time. My husband and I would've like to done a little tequila tasting, but there's always next time.

Disembarkation

Excellent. We stayed on until the last minute, enjoying our drink package. Porter helped with bags and we were off.
