Overall it was a great cruise that we had anticipated for two years. The weather was good and the seas were easy. Saw a number of whales which is why we go in February.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Was well organized and got us onboard quickly.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Buffet was alright for breakfast, but not much variety for lunch or dinner. Ate primarily in the main dining room for dinner.
Da Vinci (Main Dining Room)
5 out of 5
Loved our dining experience in the Club Class section of Da Vinci’s. Our waiters Mark and Juvina were great. Head waiter Marcos checked on our experience nightly.
Crown Grill
5 out of 5
Our evening in the Crown Grill was fabulous. We were treated to perfectly cooked steaks by an attentive staff.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Onboard activities were somewhat limited. We did enjoy the Sanctuary and the hot tubs.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
There was only one stage production. The British Invasion show was fun,but seemed very short. We loved the Diamond Trio band and variety of music depending on the venue they were performing at. Evenings in the piano lounge were enjoyable.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Had excellent service from a friendly crew ship wide. The Medallion service worked great for us and we ordered food a drinks through out the ship.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Older ship but we liked the size and ease of getting around.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was roomy and our steward “Noy “ was great. First time in a mini suite. Our only complaint was a noise that we heard often that we were told came from the life boat hydraulic moorings below our cabin. The Club Class amenities were a nice addition, although I don’t know if we would have booked it without the large FCC’s that we had available.
Ship tip
Take advantage of the quiet places on the ship to relax. With the ship at less than half capacity they were easy to find.
Enjoyed this little town. Spent our time in the El Centro area dining on coconut shrimp and Pacifico beer. Good music at many of the restaurants and bars.
Always love Cabo! Whale watching dinner cruise excursion was fun. Saw many whales and even got very close to a humpback while taking a water taxi to Los Arcos. Got some great food and hospitality at El Coral Grill in town.
