Review summary

Was so nice to be back onboard. Would Do Again!!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
With the preassigned check in times this was the fastest embarkation and on board time I have ever had. Extremely smooth, I guess providing you have all the prerequisites inputted into the Medallion app.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
About my only disappointment with the entire cruise. The buffet was nothing close to what it was in the past. Very limited selection and the quality was lacking. Some items were stale and others tasted bad. The soda was hit or miss. I really think some of the soda syrup has been onboard for the last year and a half. Some venues it tasted fine others were horrible. In all fairness this was only the second cruise for this ship since the restart so maybe they need to get fine tuned. I know they have lost an incredible amount of money but please don't make it it with the food. Alfredos was great, multiple times. Crown Grill was still top notch.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Attended a comedy show in the main theater and also a magician in the Vista Lounge. Both were very worth while and enjoyable.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The crew has always been great, this time around was extra exceptional. They really seemed to be as happy to see us as we were to see them. Really went the extra mile at every turn.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Again, Princess has always been clean and polished but this was next level. Always saw crew cleaning and wiping. Ship looked great.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Love the mini suites. Had a brother in-law with an interior cabin down the hall so the living room and balcony were nice to be able to visit with him in comfort.

Ship tip

For a great view get up to the flybridge, forward deck 15. The sail aways are wonderful with this view.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
Being from Arizona this is an easy port to utilize.

Ensenada, Mexico

5 out of 5
Again stayed on ship but could see it would be easy on and off. No tender required and town is right there.

San Diego, California

5 out of 5
Love San Diego but stayed on ship. Great port and very scenic views.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
As with embarkation, they have a great system. Easy on, easy off.
