Overall this was a great first cruise. We had so much friend trying multiple bars with friends. Loved our time in San Diego. The spa was great for treatments but a little too much selling before and after. Everything was so much fun though and would try another Princess Ship again. The Drinks, tips, and Wi-Fi package made it so easy and the electronic medallions streamlined a lot of things.
Embarkation

Used the medallion to check in when we arrived. After having vaccine card and test checked, we proceeded to holding area before boarding. They upgraded us to the elite boarding group which was unexpected and nice.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
In general, the food was fine. Being our first cruise, we loved how flexible it was to dine whenever we wanted. We had no trouble getting reservations since the ship was less than 50% full. Disappointed that they never served lobster in the complimentary dining rooms. The last night we chose the crown grill for steak and lobster but unfortunately everything was really over cooked. Loved the buffets and the grills outside by the pool. Drinks and bars were awesome.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We spent a ton of time at wheelhouse bar for meetups, live music, and friendly bartender. Bingo was expensive but fun. The pools were cool spaces but the water was way too cold to enjoy swimming. So many fun bars on the ship though and we had a great time at the casino.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Trivia and bingo were fun. The entertainers were super high energy and made it fun. The DJ wasn’t the best and we were disappointed the club was closed.
Service and Staff

Ship Quality

Felt safe and clean! Loved the layout and we were able to use the stairs to get around most times
Ship tip
This was a unique cruise because it was less than 50% full. It’s difficult to give advice since it’s my first cruise and don’t have a lot to compare it to. It’s a small enough ship to try everything. I would say try a specialty restaurant at least one or two of the nights to get a slightly better selection of food.
Welcome to the wonderful world of cruising, I’m sure you’ll be hooked now like we are.
Enjoy the amazing ships and experiences your sure to have in the future.
