The cruise was good until it wasn’t Seattle tour was the first disappointment but it got refunded. Then Victoria was cancelled making us have more sea days than expected. Several things were closed for maintenance and I’m not used to seeing things being worked on on other cruises I’ve been on. It would be nice if princess did something since we did not get the vacation we paid for with the cancelled port of call

Onboard Activities

Watched people sleep in art auction that was clearly not about moving art but more about showing how much expensive stuff the dealer had. Multiple things were put up with bidding starting over 60k. Just wasn’t the type of cruise where that would move. Not much to do on board if you weren’t into bingo, trivia or the casino

My wife and I did tour and the girls were talking over each other to us making different promises for what the early booking deals would be so when we booked I thought we were getting one thing and my wife thought something else so with the language barrier and fast talking there was confusion. During the couples massage we go there were long periods of time when nothing was happening. It was supposed to be hot stone and it was not as advertised. I felt like it was overpriced and like I got the short end of the stick in a car deal.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Wasn’t much to choose from. Shows were ok but nothing to write home about. One piano player sounded angry when people weren’t engaged with his music to answer who the composer was while playing in one of the lounges
Children's Programs
Didn’t bring children

Being at the front of the ship was very rough on the way up it felt like the captain was trying to see how hard he could make the ship go through waves. Stewart kept room clean. Size was what could be expected for room type.
Ship tip
Pick a room midship or toward back. This is an old ship and is not smooth in front
I enjoyed the city itself but the hop on hop off tour was terrible we had to stand in lines for over 30 minutes waiting for busses to be loaded then after we got off at one stop we never saw another bus. We ended up using a free water front shuttle to get around.
After beautiful sunny days at all of the other ports the captain said at the end of Vancouver that there was a storm that might prevent us from getting out on time so we skipped port. The thing that made it questionable was the fact that we had bright sunny skies with calm seas the whole way back for 2 days at sea and going up was much worsr
We arrived in port half a day before we were supposed to. We had No desire at that point to hang out in San Francisco or stay on the ship for another night
