Review summary

I would not cruise with Princess again as the costs when on board are very excessive and expensive. The staff were fantastic and did a really good job in looking after the cruisers.

The gym was to small and some equipment (spinning bikes) were chargeable which is not acceptable. Ever time I went to the gym it was full with no equipment available to use.

Anyone with intention of using the gym, I wouldn’t wast your time. It is to small and was full every time I tried to use it, even at 06:00. Then some of the items (Spinning bikes were chargeable 12 dollars an hour. Disappointed.

The ship was ok for an old ship. The gym was poor & not big enough with restrictions on use of equipment.

Our cabin was changed with out our agreement and no reason given, this was disappointing. The cabin was ok

Ship tip

The charges are excessive for other items, bottle of wine 35 dollars plus 15% gratuity was excessive cost with no wine packages available.

Excellent, good idea to get a private helicopter or small plane excursion as the views are fantastic. Again prices on the cruise ship were more than double the prices when booked locally

Drinks art work and souvenirs are expensive on the ship ...but they are expensive on any cruise ship...we set a budget which my wife promptly ignores ...but do what ...3 Sundays from now I will be floating away

All cruise lines will offer an “upgrade”...we now inform our TA that we do not want any upgrade unless we sign off on it...looks like the extra costs were gym equipment ...I would not know...when on a cruise...I just move enough so that I am not considered legally dead
