Review summary

this was our 18th cruise,3rd with princess. We were very disappointed in the ship, staff and service. In 15 days our linens were changed twice. The ship is old and in need of serious repairs.Nothing about this ship lived up to Princess quality and service we've had on other cruises.

Pools were constantly closed for repairs. Too many art auctions, Gym was terrible. Too small, lack of machines. Cruise designed for crowds that were in bed by 9pm

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
I am disabled and when I asked for help in the casino I was told by the staff to try harder. when I complained to the manager she just shrugged it off.. In the Crown Grill the first night service was excellent the second time it was awful. No consistency

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
This ship needs dry dock now. Tiles were missing from the hot tubs, pools were closed for repairs, Pipes leaked in hallways, our balcony door wasn"t just rotting away most of the bottom supports weren"t even there anymore. the rest of the ship wasn"t much better.

Cabin / Stateroom

JacquiBlue if you are just getting off the ship in Juneau, there is no tender involved( we just came off the Grand). Now if it's an excursion that's a different story and I would suggest to check and see if it's a disabled friendly( for lack a better word). I agree with markcross it's subjective and we all get old...we just had great service on the Grand so it's all what you make of things

I am sorry to hear that, I’m traveling with my disabled husband 😬 already worrying about the fact we have a tender in Juno I’m afraid if we can get him off, can we get back on 😬😬😬

Can't please everybody every thing is subjective, some people probably had the same feelings, some probably feel the exact opposite. In this world we have to create our own happiness. Old people, old boats, and old buildings all show signs of deteriorization in their own beautiful way😎
