Review summary

This was a wonderful get away.  Being from California we had been to all the cities that the ship docked at.  We found something new to do in each port.  We discovered Glass blowing in Santa Barbara.  The Queen Mary is in the same location that we docked in Long Beach.  The Scavenger Hunt in San Diego was educational and fun.  On the way back to SF there were whales.  It was fun to stand on our balcony and see the spouts.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Chef Table was wonderful

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Were lacking in the onboard activities or they were while everyone was ashore.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Movie under the stars should be movies. There were more concerts than movies.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship is old and shows it age.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a mini suite. If you are not going to spend a lot of time in your cabin then an interior or a balcony would be just as nice.

Ship tip

Discovered the Belgian waffle counter a bit late in the cruise. It is well worth finding, they are yummy.

Took the Scavenger Hunt excursion from United Cruises and had a great time. It ended near the cruise ship dock. Highly recommend this excursion.

The wine tasting was a lot of fun.
