Review summary
Absolutely magical cruise from start to finish! The food was the highlight with the cruise staff running a close second. We never felt crowded on the ship (except for maybe the early production shows).
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Easy embarkation and disembarkation process, even through customs. Cruise personnel checking in additional bottles of wine were not knowledgeable about the process. They asked us to return to their table after we left in order to sign a receipt.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Much much better than expected! Excellent taste, freshness, variety, presentation, quantity, etc.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Escape Room was fun. Sign up as soon as possible since slots are limited. Behind-the-Scenes tours of the theatre and kitchens were interesting. We tried anything and everything we could and had lots of fun the entire cruise.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Wonderful shows and performers. Amazing Cruise Director John seemed to be everywhere all the time.
Children's Programs
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our dining wait staff was outstanding and professional (Michael and his assistant). Donatello dining room greeter was always efficient and cheerful. Room steward Jerry was on top of everything having to do with our room.
Ship Quality

Beautiful ship. We went exploring quite a bit and were impressed with everything we saw.
Lots of stores willing to sell you anything, especially jewelry. Skip the cruise sales presentation concerning shopping while in port. You’ll get coupons for free items in port shops, but I was made to feel like we were inconveniencing the jewelry shop employee if we were only there for our freebie.
Wonderful train excursion. We went directly to the train depot instead of signing up on the cruise. Same price, but the cruise train looked like 3x more passengers.
Wonderful excursion to glacier and then whale watching with guaranteed sightings. Got excursion from booth near the ship since our excursion booked on the ship got canceled - no ones fault but nature (not enough water in the river).
