Review summary
I enjoyed the cruise and meeting several of the crew. Customer service and excursion staff were very helpful. I appreciate everyone's great attitude.
Embarkation

An over zealous security person took my husband's Leatherman from him. Later on board security gave it back and had no problem with him having it.

Loved the GoPro session. But disappointed that the advanced session wasn't offered.

The singer on the final night was amazing.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our waiters and cabin steward were very friendly and took great care of us. I appreciated the captains efforts to keep us updated as weather interfered with some of our cruise. HIs actions to provide us a good experience while keeping us safe were worth noting. I thank him for the adjustment of our travel on the last day so that we got to see the Indian village and several Orcas and other wildlife.

The public bathrooms were clean as were the Horizon buffet and the Catalano dining room. I did notice some wear and tear: on the Aloha deck, port side, many of the corners leading into stateroom doorways were dented. Also, the chairs in the Princess theater are getting shabby. One of our group had the wood decorative piece on the top of the seat come off in his hand. I also niticed frayed upholstery.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our stateroom was nice and well kept. One problem is the placement of the TV so that it overlaps the walkway through the sliding door to the balcony. Both my husband and I hit our heads on the TV coming back in to the room more than once. We also had trouble with the flush on the first day, even though we only put toilet paper in the toilet.
Ship tip
Pay for the transfer from the ship to the airport in Vancouver and then participate in the direct to airport program. That made the Canadian and US Customs experience faster and easier.
