Review summary
Overall, the cruise was amazing. The inside passage was beautiful, the excursions were fun, and the time with my wife was priceless. The ship was ok (other than water leaking from the ceiling in several places), the food was mediocre, and the service was ok. We hardly ever saw drink service anywhere other than near the food areas (as opposed to all decks on the other cruises we’ve been on). The room was about what we are accustomed to while cruising other than the shower head was not good. The food was probably the worst we’ve ever had on a cruise other than a few really good dishes and some excellent desserts. There was no surf and turf, but one night that steak was available and one that lobster was. The ship changed our meal time after it was confirmed (from 6pm to 5:15), but moved it to 7:30 when we complained. The original options were 6 and 8. The entrainment was what would be expected on such a small ship. If you want to goto the steakhouse on ship, book early. Again, we didn’t take the trip for the ship, but for the places we got to go (the glaciers, the inside passage, and the ports of call) and none of them disappointed.Embarkation
