Very enjoyable, lovely ship, meet lovely people on the ship which is important to me being a solo traveler, it's about meeting others and having a nice time and relaxing.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
OK I did have preferred booking pass being in a suite, but it did make a big difference and I was on board the ship just after 12:30 when they started the boarding.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
I only eat in the MDR, I love the food and the service. I did try one of the specialty restaurants and it was OK, but as I'm a solo traveler I don't like eating on my own, so it wasn't much fun, and the food was no better than the MDR.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There was plenty to do, but I just wanted to relax. I did Zumba and that was about it. I love Line Dancing but just never got the chance.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
What I saw was very good, especially the dancers and singers, there was a comedian but he was just OK.
There was a music group, only saw therm once, there were only 6 other people in the theater, they were not good, but I guess playing to an empty house would not be much fun for the group.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Staff were excellent, never saw the room steward after the first day, but the room was always fresh and done in a timely manner.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
No problems.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
First time I've had a suite, have to say it was worth the extra money, I just loved the luxury of it all, and yes there is a big difference between a cabin and a suite.
Sometimes we just have to pamper ourselves.
Did a ships tour, Lavender Farm and wine tasting was very good and wine tasting very informative.
Only issue the tender was half hour late leaving the ship due to customs or clearance, so this half hour had to be made up by the tour company by cutting our stops shorter, which I did not think was fair, so in the end it all was a bit rushed.
Did a ships tour of Richmond and winery, the winery was poorly done, there was no talk about the wine or history it was try the wine and that was it a bit boring, Richmond was OK, but a very small town with a few shops, but nothing to rave over.
