7 Night Alaska Inside Passage (Seattle Roundtrip)
Sail Date: June 23, 2007
Ship: Golden Princess
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Family (older children)
Reviewed: 7 years ago
Golden Princess is a beautiful and well maintained ship. Ports of call are great, but would have liked more time in Victoria, BC and Ketchican. The Spa and Gym are great and centered between the two is a great adult only area with Saunas, steam rooms, current pool and 2 jacuzzi's. A balcony is a must for Alaska, we were on it a lot especially the entire Tracy Arm Fjord and glacier viewing.
Would not recommend the sofa sleeper for sleeping.
Fly in a day or 2 earlier- Seattle is worth seeing- especially Pikes Market.
Embarkation was quick and use ship to plane luggage plan if you are flying out the same day of debarkation.

Not enough time at this port. Skip the excursions and walk the city right off the boat and pay independently to see the Alaskan Lumberjack show.
Don't Miss: Walk the city and Lumberjack show.

Don't waste money on the Gold Fever and Exclusive Railway- overpriced Take the one of the railway trips, the scenery is fabulous. Not much in town, except a lot of jewelry stores.
Don't Miss: Railway Scenic tour

The Best of Juneau excursion was well worth the money. Mendenhall glacier, whale watching, and the Salmon Bake was phenomenal.
