Review summary

The Freedom of the Seas and it’s sister ship the Independence are both good ships but unfortunately aging quickly. My room had many signs of aging including holes in the curtains, mirror peeling, worn surfaces, etc. These ships are ok for a quick get-away for 2-4 nights max. RCCL would do better to take them out of service and revamp them a little. The investment would be well worth it.

You are so right, I just got off the Enchantment of the Seas which need a overhaul as well. They keep investing in the larger ones and forgetting about the smaller fleet. Keep in mind these are the same ships that are needed to get into the small ports the larger ones cannot. They need love, time and investing too.
