Review summary

We will likely return to Carnival which is more fun with more onboard activities, a larger variety of food choices (e.g. ethnic meals), and equivalent accommodations.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
I had heard that the food on RCCL ships was superior to the food on Carnival ships. That was not the case. Food was average.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We enjoy the shows - comedy, singing/dancing, magic. No comedy shows, only 1 singing/dancing one night, one excellent juggling/comedy show one night.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Nothing outstanding. Most dinner servers in main dining seemed uninterested. The cruise was 1/2-3/4 full so dinner was not that busy, which means that the staff could have taken more time with the diners.
