Review summary

This was my first time doing a solo cruise and it definitely won’t be my last. RCCL is my favorite and will always be. The food. The service. The onboard amenities and activities. 10/10 would recommend. Already have my next cruise booked.

Easy. I arrived earlier than expected and breezed right through. No one even looked at my schedule time-frame.

The ship is beautiful, the renovations are perfect. My only issue are the dated staterooms. Although they were very clean and still in great shape. They just look like they’re from the early 00’s. Still 5 stars, though.

Cabin / Stateroom

As previously mentioned, slightly dated decor which wasn’t really an issue. Clean and fairly spacious room and balcony. Because this room is on the “hump” of the ship, it gives you extra foot or so of space between the curtain and the balcony door. Perfect for keeping extra bags and stuff out of view and maximizing space within the cabin. Charlie, the stateroom ATD was exceptional.

Ship tip

If you like to eat and want to try multiple options in the main dining room, please feel free to order as much as you’d like. I ordered 2 appetizers each night and brought an entire second entree back to my room on the final night.
