Freedom of the Seas Cruise Review to Caribbean - Southern
Review summaryFood only okay. Dress code that is "suggested" is largely ignored (baseball caps, shorts, cut offs, dungarees w/holes in them) worn to dinner including formal nights. Soda machines broken entire time. Passengers allowed to play bongos and guitars and hoot and holler loudly in Solarium. Mirror in bathroom delaminating. Beers on menu unavailable. Windjammer overcrowded and food pretty bad. Floor in Windjammer always wet with cones up and towels on floor. Breakfast in Dining Room takes 35 minutes and arrives cold. Never got food ordered such as bagel or tea. Assigned a table in dining room that was already very small for four people and then it was pushed up against a railing so really only room for three of the four of us, and we were constantly being bumped into by passers by. Had to request new table. No sommelier, had to produce card with deluxe drink pkg on it for every drink at dinner even when getting a second drink at same meal, food often came out luke warm. Props to our room steward, and one bartender who was very friendly. Otherwise service underwhelming.
