Review summary

I enjoyed the ship. Many activities to get involved in. The food was not so great. Preferred eating at the Windjammer than the main dining room. I believe that was the consensus of most of the people I spoke with. The Ports of Call were fun. Mr. Sancho's was a disappointment. The service and friendliness/willingness of the staff was unbeatable. Overall, it was a fun time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Main Dining room was fine... food not so much. Much preferred the food at the Windjammer.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Wasn't able to participate or venture out for a lot of entertaining activity. Had a five year old to tend to. But I heard it was good.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
A bit of an over protective dad prohibited many of these activities from being experienced but we look forward to engaging our little one in more of them next time. Met a woman on the ship who raved about the fun for children.

Service and Staff

Tremendous! Dwayne, Riley (not his real name) but the term of endearment we called the delightful Jamaican born Manager type man at the Windjammer.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The carpet was a bit dingy but Clever made it a point that we had a clean, cool room to come back to every afternoon and evening. Would have loved it more if there had been lounging chairs on our balcony. Nothing better than napping on the balcony in peace and quiet, the sea air comforting through slumber, the lull of the ship assuring delicious REM sleep. Couldn't quite achieve that in a folding chair.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

3 out of 5
A bit far from the airport but the lines moved well. A healthy trek to the boat. (I'm a senior with challenged knees.)

George Town, Grand Cayman

A quick side trip to a nearby beach. Nothing fancy.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Just stayed near the port but there was much to do and see. The Zip Line experience was incredible. Should have purchased that Tanzenite ring. Didn't find a better deal anywhere else.
