So big, so many different areas, all with different decors for different tastes. But easy to find our way around in very short time.

THE SHIP WAS SPOTLESS FROM BOTTOM TO TOP ALL THE DAYS I WAS ON THERE, INCLUDING ALL EATING AREAS AND INCLUDING THE POOLS.

Explorer of the Seas is a beautiful ship. The workers are kind, attentive and friendly. On the other hand a large percentage of them barely speak english. At times it was annoying. Especially when MCing game time. Our cabin on deck 10 was kept emaculate by "Mike". Awesome guy. Our waiter in the Columbus Dinning room "Alison" was a gem. We were given false information a few times, concerning activities being moved from deck to deck. Ship to shore info was not always correct. Guest relations really worked hard to keep everyone happy. One of my biggest complaints is you had to walk through the Casino to get to certain area's and the smoking was awful.

This was our first cruise and we were not disappointed! The crew was outstanding, so ready to help with anything. My husband really loved the cigar bar, it was our afternoon break each day with the drink of the day. I loved the shows---every one of them!

This is a friendly ship despite its size. We enjoyed everything especially the willingness of the staff to help out whenever we needed it. The ease of getting on and this year we tried the Express Departure which was great and got us on our way in no time at all. The entertainment was superior and the Ice Show was spectacular. As for the food and service in the dining room it was appreciated and we were treated like royalty. We also enjoyed the Windjammer and C P . This was the first cruise for a family member and even though the first day was little rough...she soon became a real cruiser. Our excursions especially the trip to Saphire Beach were enjoyed by all and the snorkeling was the best.

Everything about Explorer of the Seas is simply wonderful. The staff were friendly, helpful and went above-and-beyond. Our room steward even came to check on me (multiple times) when I was suffering from seasickness! We had rough seas during one day, but the staff did everything they could to best accommodate. Our wait staff was awesome - first cruise for all in our party where the head waiter came to the table every night, and the waiter and assistant were simply wonderful. The food was plentiful and always delicious, the ship itself was exceptionally clean and there were activities for all. We truly enjoyed our trip. Thank you, Royal Caribbean and thank you, BJ's!

The Ship was very nice, clean and the Cruise Staff were Very Frendly.

It was my 50th birthday / Mother'day My first cruise... I can't wait to go again. That's how friendly and nice everyone one was.

The ship was clean, everyone was nice and it just seemed to be so organized getting on board and leaving

On Explorer of the Sea I felt that the ship prime concern was separating people from their money ASAP. There were almost no activities that did not involve an additional cost. When at sea, there was a constant and extensive display of assorted items for sale to the extent that it was, at times difficult to walk past the tables displaying the overpriced items

We took this cruise to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We had a great time and were treated like kings and queens. The staff and services were excellent. The ship was in very good repair and kept very clean.

the crew counld not have3 been more accomadating, even the employee's in the stor3es wer3e helpful, pleasant, and kind.

Generally good experience, though value was at best OK in that they tend to "nickel & dime" additional costs into the onboard experience. This detracts substantially from the overall impression, and is clearly a problem with management philosophy.

Ship was amazing, very clean for over 3200 people on board. Staff was very professional, helpful, and friendly. Cabin was very nice and always kept clean. We had smooth sailing, which makes a big difference in the perception of the cruise.

Really nice ship,great promenade area, seems like they could have a couple more shops in the promenade and maybe one less bar.

My family had a great time on the Explorer of the Seas. The crew was very friendly and helpful. Everything ran on time, from the shows, to activities and meals. We would hightly recommend this cruise.

It was dated and carpets, bedding, walls needed updating. The outside could have used a fresh coat of paint too.

Excellent. I was very nervous since this was my first cruise experience but I guess since the ship is so big didn't get sea sick. The sea band works great.

We booked the cruise as the last minute. The Explorer of the Seas brought back fond memories for us. It was the first cruise ship we went on about 8 years ago out of Miami.The staff was exceptional. So friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely great. The activities were there if you wanted or you could do nothing and read a book,, sleep etc. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Would love to see more island added to the Ships going out of Bayonne, NJ.
