Ship was clean, never really felt crowded. Dancing floors were too small - even though there were larger venues available. Production shows were the same as last year. "Game" shows by ship staff were the exact same show. Will not take this ship again due to shows.

The ship was somewhat seedy. Carpets were worn. Many people became sick from the ventilation and from spoiled salmon served on Day 10 of the cruise. The Stateroom Attendant was wonderful, as we're the people on the Activities staff. I was very impressed with the way that the ship celebrated Chanukah and Christmas.

we spent alot of time on the promenade deck - it is beautiful - i loved seatles best coffee area - the staff was very friendly - did not receive any perks for reaching platinum status which was disappointing - we at least thought we would be some of the first to disembark. parking fees need to be reduced. our handicapped room was very spacious and well taken care of each day

The layout of the ship is excellent. It has a huge prominade on Deck 5 with great pubs and shops. The southern carribean cruise is excellent to get a good feel of many islands.

The ship is getting older and it shows. In our room the cabinets were worn and marked up by use. The crew does an exceptional job with what they have to work with.

Although large, the ship did not seem to be "too big". Food was good and staff was generally excellent.

Overall the ship was okay. Needs some upgrading. Elevators too crowded. Odors in the hallways leading to staterooms.

I really like this ship. I've been on it three times. This is a cruise for people who like cruising. The islands are ones that most people have been to, so as a destination cruise, it's not one to take.

IT WAS A VERY BEATUIFUL SHIP. NEEDS TO BE UPDATED

Not the best ship, was great about 4 years ago, very run down. The crew seemed to not care about the ship or the guests on board either. Maybe I need to change the class of ship to the newer ones. I have been on 6 with RC and this was without a doubt the worst. I will give them one more shot, I am booking a trip on Oasis next year. After that, I will let you know.

The ship was nice and had a lot of activities for kids and adults The service was not as good as I expected. Did not have the same spoiled feeling that I had on my last cruise.

The crew was very impressive and friendly however there was a garbage/fowl/waste smell from the rear of the ship the entire 9 days of travel. i heard many people complaining to guest services however guest services wasn't able to help at all. i also heard rumors from the onboard crew that was different from literature that the EXPLORER OF THE SEAS distributed that addresses the smell. i didn't believe any of the literature the EXPLORER OF THE SEAS distributed. the reason for the smell was based on people flushing items down the toilet they're not supposed to.

The Explorer of the Seas has all the ammenities desired for sailing. This includes the crew, services they provide, the food, and entertainment for all ages. The activities provided during the trip gives everyone an opportunity to partake. The casino was a fun experience, didn't make any money, but certainly had fun trying. Everyone who works on this ship makes sailing a worthwhile experience. We would recommend this ship to everyone.

I really dislike the fact that on formal night, those not dressed are still allowed to eat in the dining room. Save the mess for the buffet.

Overall is a very good and relaxing cruise, very good food, drinks, and activities. Since you have two full days at sea, one each way.. and dock for a night, you have plenty of time to do all you want at your leisure. Bermuda doesnt have much things to do, be warned ! But, we wanted to take this vacation to relax and de-stress, so the objective was fully accomplished.

The shows were great. Enjoyed the live music in the lounges. it would be nice to have a piano bar with soft listening music. It would also be nice to have the live music in the dizzy lounge play for longer periods of time. The jazz music in the Dizzy lounge on the last night was great but too loud for the small area...it should have been scheduled in a larger area to accommodate the loud sound. Food was great in the main dining room. Ice show was great. Portofino was a very nice experience...quiet and subdued atmosphere was most appreciated.

The ship is beautiful and in very good shape. The dinner service was quite good and the waiters were competent and very friendly.

Very clean ship with wonderful attention given to passengers

This was our first cruise with Royal Caribbean International, and we were impressed by the pristine condition of the ship and the friendliness and professionalism of the crew. We went on excursions in four of the five ports of call through the cruise line and found them to be reasonably priced, led by well qualified tour guides and bus drivers, and thoroughly enjoyable and informative. We were very pleased with all aspects of the cruise and will travel with Royal Caribbean again.
