Review summary

The ship was somewhat seedy. Carpets were worn. Many people became sick from the ventilation and from spoiled salmon served on Day 10 of the cruise. The Stateroom Attendant was wonderful, as we're the people on the Activities staff. I was very impressed with the way that the ship celebrated Chanukah and Christmas.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food in dining room was mediocre. Turkey tasted like it came from a diner, and fish tasted too fishy. Wait staff was very attentive, but mixed up orders frequently, sometimes bringing appetizers after the main course was served and finished.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We had a great time with many of the activities, especially the enrichment lectures.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Byron, our Stateroom Attendant, was always helpful. Wait staff was always willing to bring extra food.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
We could see rust on the hull. Toilets were often not working. Ship was very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Lovely location in the center of the ship.we really enjoyed the veranda.

Pros: The Activities staff and the people assigned to our dining room table.

Cons: The food in the dining room, not thebWindjammer
