Service was great and the staff was friendly.

since it was the first cruse I was impress.

Overall, the ship was incredibly impressive. It was a pleasure to get lost aboard the sizable Explorer of the Seas, with its vibrant Promenade, spacious pool deck and elegant dining rooms and elevators. The onboard ice skating rink was such an interesting attraction! Unfortunately, a horrible sanitation smell saturated the corridors most days, and all night one evening. In addition, staterooms leave much to be desired.

I would recommend the ship depending on what someone's expectation is. The general public areas were very nice and clean. The staff is very accommodating and friendly and add to the pleasure of the cruise.

This was our first time cruising with Royal Caribbean. I expected to be blown away and I was by some things. The ship itself was really big so there were times that I didn't even notice how many people were on board. The shows were all ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! The cruise director Richard Spacey had everyone in stitches all the time. The itinerary was really great. Although I didn't do an excursion in Bermuda, the island was so beautiful that I still enjoyed it. The crew had to be the nicest and funniest people I've ever come across. I hope to cruise on Royal Caribbean again in the future, but I think I am so biased now because of the specific crew onboard Explorer of the Seas that anyone else would be a disappointment : )

Ship is nice, but could use updates.

First day our luggage was delivered to the wrong stateroom. We didn't get it until after 10pm that night :-( Shore excursions were ok; would have been great if they didn't add the traval time to it. Our 3 hr was more like 2 hr minus the travel time. They should not include travel time into the excursions. Otherwise everything was good. We had a very good time!

The best part of this cruise were the staff and crew. The cruise director was the best a nd so was the waiter staff! There is so much to do on board that as they said if you get bored then you are just boring! Richard Sapcey is the best!!!!

From the beginning to the end of the cruise the staff was wonderful and helpful. The food was the best and a great assortment every day and night. I couldn't have dreamed of a more wonderful cruise. I can't wait to book another in the future.

The Cruise was overall Good. We had a group of 8 (2 grandparents, 2 parents and 4 children under16). We were told pior to trip we were at same dinner table. When received boarding cards we noticed grandparents in a different dinning room, 2 adults and 2 children at a table of 8 with a different family of 4. and our 2 girls aged 13 & 14 were at a different table at the total opposite of the room. The seating arrangements were then changed that night for the second night forward. However we did try to have it changed as soon as we noticed but was not done until later. The other thing we did not like was the stateroom attendant would enter the cabins even though we were in the rooms. At one point my 14 year old daughter was sick so she satyed in cabin and told me the attendant would enter even with the don not disturb card on door. this happened a lot when the distrub card was in so I guess that does not mean anything to them!

The ship was dated up close. The balconies were in need of fresh paint and the railings were ugly. The Atrium pool was heated one day and not heated the next. Too bad, because it was so cold that the only water activity on ship involved the hot tubs and they were crowded. I felt that every option (even a soda by the pool) meant additional cost. Basic soda, wine, beer, and water should be provided in all locations. Same with internet. Basically I feel that I was nickel and dimed for basic services.

I did a 10 day cruise with explorere of the seas, the ship was extremely clean and the staff was friendly. I definitely enjoyed myself because i went with my girlfriend but if i had not i would have been pissed because it was mostly couples on the ship with their kids and most of the couples were middle aged. The music in the club was whack the dj needs to be thrown overboard because he played the same thing every night back to back. I definitely would never buy an excursion through royal caribbean, they charge an arm and a leg for no reason, i say wait until you get on land to buy directly through the locals. The food was a 7 out of 10 most times, so you don't have to worry about that.

ship was ran very well, good food great entertainment, maybe some more poker games. all staff very pleasant and courtious. teen and pre-teen supervision should be better enforced.

Great ship but it was to crowded. Also the kidsclub was to crowded and maybe that's the reason why our 7 years old didn't like it.

The best cruise we've been on. Loved the mini suite and aft balcony on Princess but this jr suite edged then out.

The ship was great for the most part, crew were very nice and polite. Food was great.

All areas were very clean. Very easy to move around and only minor delays with the elevators except during mass movements. All of the staff were friendly and willing to do almost anything to please the customer. The variety of the food was very good and hot foods were served hot. The entertainment was good but I have seen better. We had a light burn out in our room and maintenance responded promptly. On a scale of 10, I would rate the ship as a 9.

The weather was pretty good except for some wind. But the ship handled the seas with ease and we didn't mind the rolling at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The casino was tight, but they all are I expect. The food was great, my pants don't fit anymore LOL.

waiters need improvement on deck 11,no washing machines or iron

Staff is very friendly and service oriented. Couldn't ask for more in that regard. Food was good but menu could be more varied. We feel the ship could use some update. The Captain kept the passengers informed of what was going on daily (ie: weather,delays, ship issues etc) which we found very refreshing. All in all, we had great time.
