This was one of my favorite cruises. I met so many amazing people and loved Labadee.

Embarkation

Very well organized. Got there at 10:30 for my 11 am boarding time. Was on board at 11 am.

Did the specialty dining package. Giovanni's was particularly good. The buffet lacked variety, but all of the food was hot and well prepared.

This ice show was fantastic, and the 70's party was a blast. They are still struggling with staffing and Covid, so you have to expect some changes and fewer options.

Older ship, due for an update, but she's still beautiful.

Clean, but I'm not a fan of the enclosed balconies. It reduces the view from inside.

Ship tip

Go with an open mind and understand that this will not be like a pre-covid cruise. They are cruising at capacity with a reduced staff and supply chain issues. Some variety will be missing in food, liquor and entertainment.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

1st time here and can't wait to go back. Head over to Nellie's Cove or Columbus Beach for the softest sand and calm waters. Drink service was limited to only a few items since they had to bring it all from the ship.

So easy. They now have facial recognition which really speeds up the process. It was 15 minutes from ship to bus.
