Review summary

Royal exceeded our expectations! Already booking our next cruise with our children. Highly recommend the deluxe drink package and paying gratuities ahead of time! All paid off for us to thoroughly enjoy ourselves with a hefty bill at the end!

Embarkation

We were so worried about the process but they made it incredibly easy and took every step to make sure you were getting on board safely regarding the current situation.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Only reason for 4 is the food had some inconsistencies. Escargot wasn’t cooked all the way and some desserts were over cooked. Giovanni’s table was closed but Chops and Izumi were fantastic!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pool was great, had a great time being active with paddle ball and put put. Track could be longer but the beautiful scenery made it great.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved the performances on board. Favorite was the ice skating performance.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
This was key! Our previous cruises have been on Crystal Cruises, which has exceptional service. Because the ship was on a quarter occupied it allowed for great attention and service. I’m sure they provide it either way at full capacity but we thoroughly enjoyed the service and smiles that came with it.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Photos and videos never do it justice, we’re pleased with decor and cleanliness of the upkeep of the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

Great view and layout. Researched all the tricks and trades to occupy the space even more. Magnets, shower caddy hanger, shoe rack…all essentials 😉
