Review summary

We usually cruise with my wife's parents and sister and brother-in-law and did that on this cruise as well. I believe everyone had a good time. The food venues were not open as late as a usually are on this cruise. We didn't do a lot of the onboard shows as we played cards in the library each night. We live in different states so we try to spend our time together when we cruise.

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Had evening dining. Main dining attendants were great. They always had Arnold Palmers ready for us. My brother in law asked for double portion of shrimp appatize the first 2 days and the server always served him double portion after that. The Windjammer was not open as late as they usually are on this cruise.

Onboard Activities

We took a bus tour of the island that was not booked through the ship. When we were going out of the port there were several tour operators waiting to snag people. We had a delightful time and returned to the boat in plenty of time for departure.

We went on the submarine Excursion. The group before us didn't look real pleased, but it looks like they had a full capacity tour. Our tour was only fill to 25% capacity and we had a great time. The submarine only has a view on one side as you're going down and then they turn around when you come back and the other side gets the view. When we were on, because it was very open due to not being full we were able to switch sides to have a few the entire time and it was delightful. Would have been a little disappointed if we could not switch sides. We touch the bottom at 130 feet deep.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

We couldn't do anything in Haiti except the cruise line owned portion of the island.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

I did a learning to scuba dive excursion. It was okay. I've done a better learning to scuba dive excursion on another cruise when we were able to see more. But it was a nice experience.
