We thought that our cruise last year on the Anthem was bad because of all the rude people onboard, and some of the staff, but what a surprise to see that the Explorer was even worse for other reasons. If it wasnt for all the excursions, the cruise would have been a total disappointment!

The two comedians were good, the ice show was great, the rest was nothing to write home about. Everything was scheduled so late at night we couldn't stay up for them. Very disappointing!

The room steward, the waiters were awesome! No complaints on them. But as for the activities people, I have nothing positive to say about any of it except for the Love and Marriage game show.

Do not buy the soda package, its a waste of good money, the machines are always empty, and the stuff at the bar is flat!
Worst disembark eve, we almost missed our plane because the lines were held up, we were second to last to get to the airport and they closed the gate right after we got in line! Very stressful, we had paid in advance for a bus transport from the ship to the airport.
Would have been nice to know why it was worse. It clearly states that the Explorer doesn't have musicals or Broadway shows. Not sure how much entertainment they were expecting.
Sound like the things staff could influence were good ie room attendants, waiters bar staff etc. Seems a very harsh review
I suspect they booked too early a flight home. We never book a return flight much before 2pm. Booking noon or earlier is asking for trouble if you run into delays getting off ship.
