Review summary

A 2006 cruise on Royal Caribbean was wonderful. This cruise did not meets those standards. I hope it is not a trend that you can only get excellent service if you pay extra.

We’ve been on 13 previous cruises, and the service on this one was just average. The last day, we got better service but it was followed with a request for a high rating. Only a couple servers seems really invested.

Cabin was decent size. As was balcony. Mini frig dirty upon arrival, but was taken care of as soon as we notified room steward.

Sorry you didn’t enjoy it. Most cruise lines have had some cutbacks, but we were on Adventure of the Seas in November and thought the service was excellent. Others on your same cruise rated the service as excellent. I guess it depends on what you are expecting.

Enjoyed our cruise on Explorer January 19-24th. Went to Nassau and Labadee. Thought the ship could use a little more entertainment options. Loved playing bingo! Really liked the cruise director Mike and his staff, especially Zoe! She was a hoot!

Fun
