Review summary

Ship was a good size and easy to navigate with lots of interesting art on the staircases. Showing it's age slightly now but soon to be going for it's makeover I hear. Staff were fab. Food very good but slow service in the dining room which was never overly busy. We had table for 2 which usually entailed a wait if you hadn't booked.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Service a bit slow in the main area dining room, food was very. Buffet had a good selection, was busier in the evenings than I expected, different theme every night which was great.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Not much going on to be honest.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
If I hear another Bob Marley song it will be too soon, and I quite like Bob Marley too! Performances from the musicians were repetitive and not my cup of tea. The circus rope couple were brilliant, ice show was great, didn't enjoy the singing and dancing from the ships staff. Too much kareoke too.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Staff were very jolly and helpful. Couldn't fault them.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Good size, slightly shabby in places but this didn't detract from my holiday. Spotlessly clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Promenade view with an unwanted connector door but we did book an inside guarantee so can't really complain. We could hear our neighbour every move but thankfully they weren't too noisy. Cabin opposite Cafe Promanade which was very handy but you had to keep the curtains closed as you could see in.

Ports of call

Barcelona, Spain

Love Barcelona

Valencia, Spain

Beautiful city. Have been twice before and the ships transfer was about fifteen euro pp which I thought was too expensive.

Gibraltar (U.K.)

Walked up to see the monkeys, won't do that again in a hurry! Took about an hour and a half. Some beautiful scenery on the way. Cable car back down which is a rip off. Walked through a beautiful park with a pond on the way back to the ship. Popped into Morrisons for some £3 bottles of vodka.

Gijon, Spain Did not visit port

It was Sunday everything closed

Southampton (London), England
