Review summary

Very well laid-out ship. Royal Carribean needs to address the cigarette smoke issue where passengers are not forced to walk through the terrible odor.

Smoke from the casino was really bad. Not only on deck 4 (casino location), but on the main Deck 5. Stairs accessing the casino were in the middle of the ship, and the intense smoke smell came through the open stairway access. Could not walk through the main deck without holding breath!!!

That my biggest issue with the Explorer. Too many smokers. Not as noticeable on other Royal ships

I agree. As a past smoker now with breathing issues I find walking through the smoking area affects me a lot. Wish they could make it right at the back of the ship so we leave it behind.
