When people put their plates out after ordering room service the plates stayed outside of their room for 3 or 4 days.

When we returned from port there was huge cockroaches in our room, the big ones you find in the south, however we were on a Pacific Coastal cruise so they must have been there a long time. We were moved to a room with mold that smelled horrible and the beds were as hard as concrete.

We sailed on the Explorer in February this year, our 1st cruise and my friends 4th, we LOVED every minute and cannot wait to go again, hopefully on a Transpacific, might try the Oasis this time as the Explorer doesn't look like she's returning to Australia in late 2020, rest easy you will love ir 😆

Whwitola - you needn’t worry. Have been on Explorer earlier this year - absolutely loved it - no problems with cleanliness or lack of entertainment. Loved it so much am booked to sail on her again at Xmas time. Enjoy.

There were a lot of “older” cruisers on this cruise and was pretty quiet after 10 pm but we had a blast with our friends and got involved in everything. We closed the pub down every night with our bartender Fe!

I’m on the ship now & not found plates etc our for 3-4days. I also think the beds are very comfortable & not hard as a rock but everyone has their own comfy status on beds. Only day 4 so not many activities yet but I’m sure as the days go there will be way more. Staff have been super friendly & always a huge smile & hellos to everyone that they pass. Also that’s a huge cockroach that could’ve came in with anyone’s baggage. They are very common in Australia. I personally haven’t seen any in our room or anywhere we have been or eaten. Wishing you the best in your travels & hope it goes a little more better for you. Whwitola you won’t regret purchasing your cruise, we have loved all 4 days so far & cant wait for the rest of our holiday to continue 😊

I have been with RC and this sounds nothing like them. I have had no problems with their other ship, beds were amazing. The best sleep I'd had and everything was perfect. I'm sure it will be again

I am a Carnival cruiser but have booked Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas because of the itinerary. But based on your review, I am now regretting having done so.
