Review summary

Overall we were disappointed with RC EOS, heard fantastic reviews but lacked entertainment and quality and interesting activities onboard. Way too much trivia. Kids (aged 10 & 8) were bored by day 3 and didn't enjoy kids club. Food was mediocre nothing was wow, apart from Chops and Izumi the specialty restaurants. Drinks pack always bought inbound way over priced, just like the rest of the cruise. The promenade was soooo disappointing, only a few shops and the cafe, food was so so. For us, the RC EOS not for us, enjoyed our times on the Carnival spirit.

Specialty restaurants were great, main dining room experience nothing to get too excited about and windjammer buffet like any other buffet food was ok not much flavour in the foods

Rock climbing, pools were closed most of the time due to the weather, really very little to do onboard, got bored very quickly

Entertainment on the ship was quite poor, timing of shows was bad, comedian was great and the ice skating show which came on the 2nd last day, otherwise entertainment on the ship was very disappointing

Very limited spaces so 1st in , children went twice and said that they had a lot of free time colouring and were very bored.

Service and Staff

Cruise staff are always very courteous and helpful with lovely personalities. Found the next cruise staff lady terribly rude

Ship Quality

It seemed silly to get to main dining rooms, you had to walk the full length of ship and then go down a few flights of stairs because of the ice skating rink, children freely roamed the casino floor. It was clean but after a few days certain pockets of the ship started to smell like sewerage

Ship tip

Take a few good books with you, bingo is expensive to play every day, found the ship to be lacking in entertainment and activities for young and old. Overall, very di with the RC

been on this ship 3 times, my favorite ship after doing 9 cruises with RCI, your cruise is what you make it ☺

We just finished our cruise yesterday and had a fantastic time. Booked drinks package early when discounted so was great value. Our 13 year old loved kids club and can’t wait to go back. The shows were good but did miss a full production show. Ice show was fantastic. We have booked to go back again.

I went on the same ship last year and yes I have to agree with you...the ice skating show was the highlight of the cruise
