Review summary

The shows were great. Enjoyed the live music in the lounges. it would be nice to have a piano bar with soft listening music. It would also be nice to have the live music in the dizzy lounge play for longer periods of time. The jazz music in the Dizzy lounge on the last night was great but too loud for the small area...it should have been scheduled in a larger area to accommodate the loud sound. Food was great in the main dining room. Ice show was great. Portofino was a very nice experience...quiet and subdued atmosphere was most appreciated.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
For dinner in the main dining room it would be nice to offer a soup course, a salad course, or a pasta course prior to the main course.

Entertainment

music in Dizzy lounge needs to be scheduled for longer blocks of time.

Ports of call

Saint John, New Brunswick

short city tour was fine.
Don't Miss: not much is a don't miss...the converging rapids was not much to see.

Bar Harbor, Maine

The national park tour was very long...I would have preferred to skip it and just have a nice lobster lunch and shopping expedition.
Don't Miss: shopping

Boston, Massachusetts

we rode the shuttle to Quincy market and Fanhual hall....lunch at the Union Oyster House was superb.
Don't Miss: Union Oyster House

Portland, Maine

We enjoyed the city tour and shopping.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
enjoyed Peggy's cove and the gift shops there.
Don't Miss: it all was worthwhile.

Pros: ports of call were enjoyable and a wide variety of excursions

Cons: i would prefer to sit at the same table for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can build a rapport with the wait staff and your fellow diners. It also eliminates standing in line to be seated at lunch and dinner.
