We went on the 9 day Bermuda/Caribbean cruise out of Port Liberty and loved every minute of our trip.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food in the Windjammer gets boring after so many days. The service and presentation in the main dining room were excellent. Johnny Rocket's was fun. Wish there was iced tea and lemonade available someplace other than just the Windjammer.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Ballroom dance classes with Shula and Hubby were the best! Lots of fun even though we were crowded in the Chamber. She's an excellent teacher and very entertaining. Scrapbooking sessions were not very informative - mostly just handed out supplies and hurried you through to meet their schedule. One comedian was terrible but the rest were good. The singers & dancers were new on our cruise and it showed.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great service except sometimes the people at the service desk didn't know the answer to your question so they made something up. The people in the sea lab were great and very informative.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was spotless and beautiful. The Promenade was a great meeting place and fun at night.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our balcony stateroom was perfect for the two of us. We loved sitting out on the balcony in the early morning watching the sea or the port as we arrived. 7th floor was good - could run down 2 flights to the Promenade Cafe any time.

Ports of call

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Toured Blackbeard's Castle and Recommended Shopping. Great tour! Saw restored homes, etc. Tour guide recommended Cuzzin's Restaurant for lunch and we enjoyed it very much.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Took a bus tour of the island. Couldn't understand much of what the driver was saying. Beautiful views.
Don't Miss: Guavaberry store.

King's Wharf, Bermuda

Wish we could have been here on a weekday when there was some activity and things were open. Took the Famous Homes & Hideaways cruise. Very nice. Saw lots of beautiful homes and good information by the skipper.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Took the Bacardi Factory and City Tour. Got to see the fort and the Bacardi tour was interesting but rushed. Wish we could have spent more time here.

Pros: The ship and its crew, the ports of call

Cons: Disembarking
