Review summary

While relaxing overall the cruise was a little disappointing. The overall food experience, except for the Tamarind, was not up to the usual quality. Food took 45 minutes to receive and then it was luke warm. Iced tea was very weak and had a coffee taste. Wine tasting on ship did not compare to the quality of the ones we had always experienced numerous times before.

The Tamarind was always excellent. However compared to our numerous other HAL cruises the other restaurants were not up to prior experiences.

The Steel Drum Band was excellent.

Room steward, Tamirand staff and concierge were excellent. Other wait staff was average.

A Neptune suite with wrap-around veranda. Always kept clean and since it was a suite the size was excellent.

Went to a chocolate wine tasting which was excellent. Ground our own beans and made chocolate bars for hot chocolate later at home.

Crew gave us different directions 3 times. Seemed unorganized compare to past cruises.
