Smaill Ship Less Crowded by blhum88774270

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Boarding was quick and easy. The ship was not overly crowded like the larger one can get. The food and entertainment was a disappointment. Formal diner used to serve better dishes, now they want to sell you upgrades. Most the live music and shows were not that good.

4 night cruise by chelbvball

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

My favorite part of the cruise was the excursions, especially in Nassau and Key West, and the entertainment on the ship. I would recommend improvements in the quality of food, drinks, and departing from the ship. I would recommend a cruise to other people, but I would suggest them trying another ship.

Review of the Enchantment of the Seas by ssims

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The first night we didn't get the "animal towels", we never had the chocolate on the pillow, there were no midnight buffets with the ice sculptures and chocolate fountain.   I was disappointed on that end.

The food wasn't as good as it has been on other cruises I've been on.

The staff was very nice and accommodating.

The cruise was an amazing time. the staff was friendly and very helpful. They were Shays eking to answer ask your questions.   Love the food was amazing. It was never ending.  the windjammer buffet was outstanding. The variety of food was tasty.   there was so much to do on this cruise. There was a party going on at all times. everyone is available to help and guide you. the drinks were delicious and strong. 😍

Didn't compensate for Cococay missed stop by gehadha7

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Me and my buddies booked this cruise because we wanted to experience the Bahamas and mainly the private Cococay Island.

We had visited Key West prior roughly 6 months ago so we didn't care too much for that stop.

There were some adverse weather concerns around the Cococay Island so the captain decided it would be safe to miss it, which is understandable. The part that really frustrated me and my friends was that we ended up spending the ENTIRE day on the cruise because of it! We had flown out all the way from California so that we could visit this Island mainly, as it was our most interested spot, only to visit the Bahamas and key west (Key West almost doesn't count as its part of the US)

We spoke with a family that was at the Bahamas and they were riding with CARNIVAL. They said they had the same problem because of the weather, but their captain was nice and smart enough to allow them to stay an extra day at the Bahamas because they couldn't make it to Cococay Island. This is what we expected from our captain but it didn't happen.

Look, things happen, and I understand that we cannot control the intensity of the weather, but the least Royal Caribbean could have offered us was a partial refund for the missed stop that we were PAYING for, or at least credit for another cruise to ensure we were satisfied with their cruise line, but they didn't. The lady over the phone said the most they're offering at the moment was "Their apologies".

Next time we go on a cruise, which will be soon, we are going to be looking into Carnival, because it seems Royal Caribbean doesn't care for the satisfaction of their customers. We were really expecting a partial refund at the least. We got ripped off! It isn't too late to offer us a refund as a company's gesture way of saying sorry, pls come back to ride with us.

The staff was very friendly and the dinner was excellent. The buffet food could've been a little better. The dinner staff was also excellent. We enjoyed the entertainment on the cruise as well. Overall we had a great time.

Disappointment by SG4SG

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We didn't went to Nassau due to weather conditions, which was really disappointing for us since we've travelled a long way. Also on deck, the activities weren't as expected. For the costs, the total charges differ from the quotation, which we found out afterwards. And now we are also discovering unknown additional costs from the Royal Caribbean.com,  and Enchantment Seas. This results in a customers satisfaction of 0.

Enjoyed the trip although the Nassau trip was cancelled due to the weather. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food is great. It's a relaxing experience. However, don't keep your expectations too high!

Great trip! by ArielSchvartz

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The cruise was great! I would definetly suggest to others, but I think that the cruise could stay a little more on the stops. I could not do some excursions on shore because of that (for example, I was pretending to do skuba diving with sharks on Bahamas).

Great experience, but a rather tired ship. by joebehr2011

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Our crew was great, and the experience was top notch. But the ship itself was very tired. This was our first cruise with Royal, and we were looking for a major upgrade from our previous experience with Carnival.

from the moment we set foot on the ship we felt a warm welcome.  The servers in My Fair Lady on table 41 and the bartenders at the Pool Bar were our favorites! Could not be any more satisfied!

Love

Vacation with Family by pottooreangel

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Our stateroom was on the 8th floor of the ship and had 6 beds(4 bunk beds and 1 bed for 2). I enjoyed sitting on the window ledge and watching the sunrise and the docking at each port.

The food was excellent. I  would have liked it better if there was more selections during the off hours 5-6.30 pm when the two main areas for food was closed and the cafe had limited selections. Most people were back on the ship and wanted food and had to wait.Make sure you eat on the beach barbecue at coco bay as when you come back from your excursions the food areas are closed!

Don't sign up for the snorkeling unless you are a good swimmer as the waves are large and you cannot keep your balance. The stingray expedition was beautiful and peaceful.

The ship was clean but you take your chances with the public rest rooms.

We enjoyed sitting together as a family for dinner and had lot of fun.

Since we did not take the Wifi packet, none of our phones worked which did not go well with the teenage and younger group but it forced them to hang out with each other.

My daughter did not like that the teenage hang out area did not have a staff member there as the equipment was not available and since there was no WiFi she could not use the TV there and there was no one to ask.

Overall we enjoyed the cruise and found the staff helpful.

Christmas Family Cruise by terryf11

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

My favorite was being to relax on the beaches and pool deck after all the Christmas hipe.

I would definitely recommend this cruise to others and already did.

One thing I would improve are the nightly shows, needs more pizazz!!

Enchantment of the Seas 12/26/16 4 nights by gwenbiasi

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Had a good time. Chose the cruise for the ports visited combined with pricing, and everyone was happy.  Wish there were more hot tubs on deck 9 outside by the main pool. They were always full, no matter what time we checked.

Worst Experience by mlsmith2739

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I ended up getting hurt while getting on the cruise and they were AWFUL and did NOT try to make my experience a good one. They were more concerned with nickel and diming me for everything. This was my first Royal Caribbean cruise and will be my last. I will make sure to tell everyone I know about this awful experience.

Not very good by david98149182

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The boat was well maintained but the food and service was terrible. We waited like 30 minutes just to get bread on our table. Very few activities to do however we did have a relaxing trip.
