Be Flexible by Runhick

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

You must be flexible. St Croix would not let us into port. We received a one day refund. When it was announced in the theater, there were no groans. I was surprised. Later they replaced St Lucia with Antiqua. It was a very subdued cruise, but we still really enjoyed it.

All royal Carribean cruises are great and this one was even better. The crew and staff were unbelievable. Clean and safe.

Best Vacation Ever! by doggymomof3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was hands-down the best vacation we have ever had. I just wish the excursions were longer. By the time we waited in line for the bus and allowed drive time to and from the beach, there was only about 2 hours of beach time out of a 4 hour excursion. Many other guests voiced the same opinion. This is the reason we took a cruise to the Bahamas - to experience the Bahamas. I was disappointed with the short amount of beach time. Other than that, everything else was absolutely wonderful.

Working out the kinks by ellies6272

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The cruise was good overall. It was clear that the staff still needed to find there groove. I like the smaller ships it is more personal.

Catching Caribbean Sun Cruise (CCSC) by NewShipEd

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Thank goodness that we did not get infected on this cruise! Overall is was a restful vacation with plenty of delicious food & drinks. The only thing, not so good, was the weather, forcing the pool deck to be closed causing the Solarium to be rather crowded since there was no space to sunbath.

Delish or Mediocre by michellejadesun

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Got on board quickly. Photos came out great! Get the photo package on the first day! Great photo staff!! Stage productions were fun! Hated that shops and Windjammer seemed to have limited hours. Hated that ice cream is only 12noon-9 pm. Hated that deck 10 (walking track, rock wall, jump zone) were closed most of the cruise. Cafe Latitude is with Ben n Jerry’s is great! Ship always seems to plus sell everything.

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Ship was smaller then others used, rocked and rolled lot more and felt everthing. Plus crew kept opening hall door we were sleeping on flooding hall and cabin with diesel exhaust, welding and maintenance related smells. Made breathing uncomfortable at times. Plus started hammering and grinding Work at 0720 hrs and cabins a ways down hallway all heard and complained at been woken up.

Enchantment of the Seas = fun by dge76031

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Our last cruise was aboard the much larger Oasis and did not know what to expect from a smaller ship. We really enjoyed this shorter cruise. The dinning options were less but still very good. The entertainment and activities were great, trivia games, egg drop and paper airplane contests were fun to watch. The seas were rough but did not notice the smaller ship being worse than on larger ship. This is a great option for first time cruisers.

Wonderful Staff and Amazing Cruise by caseym42745524

I would recommend this cruise to anyone of any age. The staff is amazing, and the entertainment alone is worth the cost of the cruise.

Disappointed Travelers by michaelstumps

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was my first cruise onboard this particular ship. The ship itself is outdated and in need of updating. The restaurant choices are limited to a main dining and one late night option. The room service is available but at a cost of $7.95 per order with automatic 18% gratuity in addition to that. The activities available on this ship are also limited. The ship is one of the older style class of ships with explains the limited options. I however would like to point out that the staff from the restaurant to the buffet and late night dining were all very friendly and helpful. The cruise director and housekeeping staff also were cordial. We however were not able to make one of or destinations due to the location didn't have the ship on the schedule. We instead had to spend a day and half in cozumel our only stop on this 2 stop cruise. All of the water excursions we're also canceled at cozumel due to heavy winds. So no snorkeling or water sports were available on the entire cruise quite disappointing to say the least. I may try RC again in the future but it will be only on one of there newer bigger ships. I would not recommend this ship if your young or an active older adult due to the formation reasons.

Relaxing & Fun But Would've Been Better on a Newer, Bigger Ship by Ecrivan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Overall, it was a pleasant trip, but that was due to my sailing companions and the excursion we took in Cozumel. The food was great, and I was able to relax quite a bit. But my biggest complaint was after we couldn't dock in Costa Maya, which wasn't the cruise line's fault, they sped up to get to Cozumel early. But arriving at night, there was really nothing to do there, and the extra wind and roughness of that voyage ruined what could've been another enjoyable day at sea.

The trip was as intended; very comfortable and restful. Royal Caribbean is the only cruise line I am willing to use regularly. by wzebrowsk1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Our dinners in the formal dining room were excellent. Both Praveen (waiter) and his assistant, Xuenchen were excellent. Their service was regular and outstanding. In the breakfast buffet area, both Alexander and Earvin were outstanding. For general housekeeping, Noel stood out.

Great food and wonderful service! by Aprilady2020

It was an enjoyable time! The highlights were the food and the evening entertainment. The only problem was missing the Costa Maya Port through no fault of Royal Caribbean.
