Was not able to visit. Big confusion at pier. Poor planning by shore excursions by ship personal. We arrived at the terminal and the bus was gone. This was the island we really wanted to visit and couldn’t.

We were on this sailing, too. Can't blame the cruise line for anything because you can get Covid at the supermarket or a gas station at any time, just like the common cold. The CDC and HHS have dropped the testing requirements for travel since contraction levels have stabilized. Right now, we have to look at Covid like the flu or the common cold, something we have to live with on a daily basis. However, on our last day of the cruise, we did over hear a woman talking about how halfway through the cruise her husband started not feeling well and never contacted anyone on the crew about it. Instead, they just started wearing mask so they would not have to quarantine. It's people like this that are the problem. We also saw down the hall from us two rooms on deck 2 with tell-tale signs of illness with the sleeping in signs and room service menus always on the doors and dishes outside.

You probably got Covid before you even boarded the ship. However, many people are getting it after cruise is over. Could be from one of the ports or other inconsiderate people who are coughing and sneezing.

Covid is common everywhere. If catching Covid is a concern, people don’t need to be cruising or traveling.

Unfortunately, given the nature of Covid and that many vaccinated people do not even realize they have it, you have a good chance to catch Covid on a ship or airplane or a supermarket, theater, etc.
