Review summary

I waited 3 years to travel due to the pandemic. This cruise was a major disappointment and not at all what I’ve come to expect from previous experience on Royal ships

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Excellent embarkation process, went very smooth

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
In the Main dining room the food was cold and disappointing every day. Buffet food was about the same. It was a total letdown since I had come to expect much more from previous cruises

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
All pools have no steps, only ladders so I was unable to use them due to neuropathy in my legs

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Cruise director was awesome as was the band on the pool deck but the big screen on the pool deck was not working which was disappointing. The only show was a magician who did card tricks which could not be seen where we were sitting. We actually walked out.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Room steward never had our room made up before 4 pm and we only received one towel animal. Bar service was very slow as was service in main dining room

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
There were lots of rust stains including a very large one on side of boat. A simple coat of paint would make the appearance so much better

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
First time in an interior room and I was pleasantly surprised, lots of storage for clothes and other essentials

Ship tip

Don’t go!

Ports of call

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Love it! We went to Horseshoe Bay beach on our own, no excursions

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Perfectly smooth experience

All I want to say is towel animals are over rated and environmentally not good, we never saw any on Princessand that was fine with me. Also, the Enchantment is a very old ship so never expected much with old ships, I enjoyed my cruise on her back in March very relaxing. Oh and one more thing all the cruise lines are having staffing and supply issues so don't expect it to get better soon.

Thanks for the review. Cruising is not the same as it was prior to Covid on any cruise line and may never be again.

Appreciate your feedback. Sorry this cruise didn’t meet the RCCL standards you’ve come to expect. Sadly, cruising still isn’t back to normal.
