Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Waiters: Mece and Amondo were exceptional. World class. Throughout the trip they learned what we liked. Made menu suggestions.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Veterans ceremony. Dad, a 90 year old Navy veteran, was very moved. Kenton masterfully delivered the program. Amanda sang beautifully. Kenton then went around and shared kind words with the veterans. The head chef (a veteran himself) led a moving speech. Eric, the social director was present and added his special words. Eric was fantastic. Kenton’s voice is reasonant, deep, soulful. and classy. Amanda’s vocal range was highly dramatic, refined, and dramatic.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The jazz band did Chicago better than Chicago. Dancers were unbelievably talented. Piano players were spot on and high level. Rock bands were absolutely enjoyable.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My 13 year old loved the kid area.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Febri (room attendant) made the stay enjoyable. He answered questions and took such good care of us. Anthony Ten was an excellent supervisor of dining staff. Always friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Cool older ship with lots of character.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was great. Do something to better keep water from leaving the shower area.

Ship tip

Do breakfast on the earlier side.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

2 out of 5
Brutal for handicapped passengers. Especially pickup. Port Authority security staff was nasty and unhelpful.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Mr. Alec DaSilva. A master of helping tourists of all kinds. The people of Bermuda are warm and friendly.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Customs was efficient. Great port.

Sailing on this beauty October 14th. Thanks for your review. Question ... can you get a printed copy of daily schedule or must you use your phone?

Thanks for sharing your cruise experience. Sounds like a nice cruise. Thanks for giving the shoutout to the crew that work so extremely behind the scenes to make our cruises enjoyable. I cringe every time I hear of someone wanting to take their automatic gratuities off their account and just tip the crew they see. Thank your dad for his service.

Nice to see a great review where someone appreciates what a smaller and/or older ship has to offer for a change. Glad you enjoyed your cruise and recognise the hard working people a lot of cruisers just don’t appreciate.
