We had a great cruise and we will definitely be using Royal Caribbean in the future. We will try a newer ship next time though. we got to Cozumel we saw what the new ships look like and they are humongous.
Embarkation

Excellent experience. I highly recommend supplying all documents days prior to leaving. The lines were long but we were able to speed through because we opted to pre-register
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

We spent the bulk of our time at the Windjammer because we had ate dinner reservations. That by itself would have been fine however, they decided to sit us, we are in our 50s, with a family with a one-and-a-half-year-old. They could have chose better dinner companions in my opinion.
Onboard Activities

The Newlywed game was hysterical, karaoke was great, adult hot tub was perfect and of course bar service was top notch. If you drink, the drink package is a great deal. No limits on Royal unlike others I heard about.
Entertainment

Excellent.
Service and Staff

All staff were very professional and kind. No complaints.
Ship Quality

Bishop was very clean, I really liked seeing them wiping down the handrails on a regular basis. It is an older ship so there was little wear and tear here and there but overall not a bad ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

By the last day of our cruise our backs were a little bit sore the bed started to get a bit hard but I've been in worse. Bathroom with small but doable and clean.
Ship tip
As previously mentioned pre-register and get the drink package if you drink. Excellent value for the money!
We didn't do any excursions we just stayed at the port and did some shopping. Beware that everybody tries to get you to go in there store and don't be afraid to say no.
it went pretty quick we did have to claim 2 bottles of tequilas. The total tax for two bottles was $7.50. They provided stickers so we could put them on the bottom of the bottle when we got home.
