We choose the ship due to the three day itinerary and the fact it left from Port Canaveral. We took the same itinerary in March on Mariner of the Seas, from Miami. Enchainment of the Seas was a disappointment after being on the Mariner of the Seas. In July we are going back to Coco Cay, since it will be completed; we will taking Navigator of the Seas on that trip. I would suggest that RCL consider giving Enchantment of the Seas a "makeover",

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food throughout the ship was excellent. We did not eat in the specialty restaurants, but the buffet and main dining was very good.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Only used the pool on one (1) day, while in port at Nassau. Outside Ship activities are limited compared to other ships. The "waterpark" for kids was a disappointment, No waterslides, NO basketball court, and the arcade for kids was also a disappointment. Overall not much other that the pool. Each time we tried to use the Sky Jump it was closed.
Entertainment
We did not attend any of the shows, but watched some on TV. Not overly impressed.
Children's Programs
Although we had a 10 year old with our group, he did not participate in the children's programs.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The dining staff was EXCELLENT. Room steward was average at best. The room had dust on the furniture during the cruise.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Overall the interior of the ship was clean, but not as impressive as other ships we have sailed.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Room was very outdated, Needed new curtains on balcony windows. Sofa was stained. It appears that new sinks were installed in the bathroom. For a Spacious Balcony Room, it felt smaller than other ships on RCL.
Ship tip
The ship is in need of some refurbishing. The outside wood railing need to be replaced or refinished. There was a lot of rust on the outside metal througout the ship. The ship looked very worn and in need of some major TLC.
Although the island is not yet complete, we had a great day using the pool, and the beach lagoon area. Lunch was provided and was excellent. When complete in May, it looks like it will be an excellent island experience.
The ships intercom was not working so we did not know when our group was called to disembark. The line to clear customs looked like a line at Disney for Space Mountain on a busy day. In order to circumvent the line, we used a Porter Service, so it cost us some extra TIP money, but we were able to expedite our disembarkation.
