Review summary

This was a quick 3 night cruise with Royal. Enchantment is an older ship, which can be okay, but Enchantment is overdue for a refurbishment. Staff is awesome on the ship which helped with the worn-out feel of the ship.

Embarkation was quick - we had printed out our sea pass cards at home and that made it super efficient.

We ate at all of the restaurants on the ship. Chops Grille was good but dis not wow us. The best thing on the menu was the tuna tartare appetizer - all of the sides offered were lackluster - the mashed potatoes tasted like they were from a box. We ate at the main dining hall for lunch during the day at Nassau and that was pretty good - the dessert was excellent and the meal was too! Overall we felt there was a lack of variety - same thing for breakfast at Windjammer every day - same thing for lunch.

We watched a comedian who was funny on night one. On night two, the on-ship performers did a Broadway type show that was surprisingly entertaining and well-done. Then we watched a singer from the Jersey Boys on night three who was fantastic!

Ship Quality

The ship is in need of a refurbishment and is showing its age. There was visible rust in many areas and the furniture looked worn. The layout was not the easiest and it took us a while to get to know the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin itself was clean and our steward Warren kept it spotless. The balcony was rusty and old - not worth paying up for a balcony on this ship.
