Review summary

This was a horrible trip that I waited all year for. The ship was old and didn't have much to do. The food was horrible and made me sick most nights. My booking got messed up to where all my friends had to eat at separate tables. Royal carribean shut off our football game and everyone on the ship was mad especially after not being able to go on the second port. The weather was bad which we can not control of course. But overall it was not fun or worth anything close to what I payed.

you're right, sometimes it is the attitude of the cruiser and how that cruiser treats the staff that can go along way in solving problems on the cruise. treat the staff like they owe you something and you might not get the problem resolved.

Hmmm. Sometimes even doing homework isn't the problem

sorry you had a bad time but you obviously didn't do you homework. i have been on this ship twice and loved both cruises. Our weather was not the best either so we had to stay 1 1/2 days in Nassau because it was unsafe to tender at cocoa cay. because we did the four night, we spent our sea day at cocoa cay. with a three night cruise if the weather is bad and they can't tender then that is the risk you take. As far as the dinner compliant, if you had linked your reservations i doubt there would have been a problem, again lack of homework on your part.

I agree. I think a cruise is what you make it. We loved the food, entertainment, and service, and had a fantastic time.

I've been on this ship 13 times and it's been fabulous everytime. We mainly eat dinner in either Chops or the Windjammer and it's always good. Sushi at dinner in Windjammer is good to great depending on the day. Everyone sees things differently

Did you do research on the ship before booking? The ship was built in 97, of course it's old!! I was actually surprised at how nice the ship was for its age. Also, not sure how you can say there's not much to do. My fiancé and I (we are in our 20s, and he gets bored very easily) had a blast the whole time! There are tons of things to do, you just have to follow the cruise compass!
