Review summary

We were just so happy to be cruising again. Things are slowly but surely getting back to normal. We love the technology of the Medallion App, but there are some issues to work out. I'm sure that will come in time. We did miss a couple of things like the Pub Lunch and the Crab Shack seafood feast. Not really sure why they got rid of those things. But we love Princess and it was another wonderful, relaxing, fun, and happy vacation.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was great, there were a ton of options to choose from. The only downside was dinner. Whether it was the dining room or specialty dining, it took upwards of 2 hours for a sit down dinner. That was wayyyy too long for us, especially considering that it didn't start until 5:30 and we wanted to make 7:30 shows. Also, it was really hard to get a dining reservation on the Medallion App unless you did it before the cruise.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Cruise director staff was pretty fun. They definitely stuck to appealing to an older crowd, even though there was a decent mixture of older and younger.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The production shows were a lot of fun!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every single crew member was wonderful, just as they always have been. They work SO hard!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It was a beautiful ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was so big! And we absolutely loved having the full size tub and shower. I don't know how we will ever go back to just a normal balcony room.

Ship tip

It's a large ship, but very easy to navigate. Most of the areas you want to visit are in close proximity to each other. The Aft pool on 16 is tiny, and it feels like there is far less seating at the main pools. Even at 60% capacity, you could never find a lounge chair.

This is a beautiful island, but surprisingly not a lot of businesses were open during our visit.

Hmmm Regal had Pub Lunch in December, might be a staffing issue.
