Review summary

I enjoyed the dining room at night.

We were not able to use the pool or Jacuzzi because it was always occupied by splashing and unruly children.  Since this ship had only one small pool, I believe a schedule should have been prepared for a time for children and a scheduled time for adults.  The Jacuzzi should be occupied by adults and not children.

There were no on-board activities that I was aware of.

I did not enjoy this cruise.

Ship tip

Do not take this ship unless you have younger children. We sailed on June 16th through June 20th, 2016 and not June 2nd. We went to Nassau, Bahamas and not Key West, Florida.

Generally, RCI, Disney and Carnival are geared to families with kids. The shorter cruises (under 7 days) and cruises during the school breaks will have more of them.

The other lines seem to be geared a bit more towards adults.

It is disappointing to hear from those who do not enjoy their first cruise. All those expectations coupled with the anticipation of a nice get away. I sincerely hope that you will cruise again, this time with the awareness that some cruises and lines will have more children on them. Shorter cruise tend to have more kids and a younger demographic than longer runs.

Have a good travel agent research the lines and routes before you make the next decision and let us know how the next one works out.

Well said. I don't like hearing that either. Cruising is so great! Explore other lines and ports. Research is always good too. ‚
