Review summary
We had several weather events that delayed the leaving of the ship until Monday, mostly high winds in the Port of Houston. I believe if we planned another cruise it would not be out of Houston. But we enjoyed the cruise and even RENEWED our VOWS of Matrimony of 29 years. The Captain performed the our ceremony and met with and were joined by another crew member who organized the vows and also a photographer in the Wedding Chapel. It was a small very beautiful Chapel and there were several candelabras of fresh flowers. We only had 2 extra in our party, friends that joined us for the cruise, but there was room for at least 25 to 30 people. Our cabin steward Joseph Dungan was wonderful, and our waiters from the 5:30 dinner seating were a great hit as well. We were unable to land in Isle of Rotan due to weather, but did go to Belize and Cozumel. It was a great experience in both ports as we traveled by water to see the Mayan Ruins. We snorkeled in Cozumel and had a great experience on the Emerald Princess.
