  6. Emerald Princess Does anyone know how many days before your cruise you can “ check in” and select a time to board? I cannot find it anywhere on their website and the Princess rep. I spoke to said I’m already checked in! That doesn’t show anywhere and I didn’t have a lot of confidence on the other answers he gave me to my questions. I don’t see how I could be checked in, the cruise is almost 4 months out. We’ve cruised many times, and we have never been able to check in that far out. Thank you in advance for any info you may have.

You can check in on your app as soon as your cruise is in their system. I was able to check into my Princess cruise for Jan. ‘24, before I was able to check into my Celebrity cruise in Nov. ‘23. We have always had our Medallions mailed to us, but it use to free, now they charge $10. This was the first time we had to pay for it & it hasn’t arrived. We cruise on Sunday & it isn’t going to make it, because we checked with the tracking & the post office. My lane status changed from green to blue, no fault of mine. 😏 Hope you have a wonderful cruise! 🛳️⚓️🐬🦥🌺🍹🦞💃🏖️🌴🛟🛳️

Princess has you complete the preliminary check-in through the app. If you are able to have your medallion shipped to you (USA and some parts of Canada), then you can finish all the way and be green-lined (all set to go). If you can't have the medallion shipped, or choose not to, once you enter all your info you will be blue-lined and pick up your medallion at the port. There are no specific check-in times anymore ... you just go. On my last 2 cruises (Nov and Dec) it was chaos with a late disembarkation for those coming home from their trip, mixed with those starting their vacation. Wish I had arrived later in the afternoon.

There are no specific times to check in anymore. I was told by Princess as long as u check in after 11:00 you’re ok. As long as u are checked in on the app and ready to go u are good to go. It shows up on the app that u are checked in and ready if u completed all the steps.

If u completed all the steps on the app u should be checked in and ready to go. There is no check in times anymore. Check in at the port is anytime after 11:00
